I said, I shall not see the LORD, H3050 even the LORD, H3050 in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
We have two ancient forms, supposedly of Yehovah . Yahaoh and Yahaweh . If these were ancient then they were not vowelised but rather they were recorded as pronunciations that were common. The first four letters are preserved in the names which initiate with them, for example yeah hachureThe first four letters are preserved in the names which initiate with them, for example Yehoshua , Yehoshaphat. So the first ending oh is attested to buy the Greek vowels which just Cephus mentions. IAW The second ending weh is apparently associated with a so-called heretic to Jewish temple sect in Egypt
The two forms are at least consistent with the two possible verbs roots Hayah The concept of conscious being, a subjective experience expressed concretely by breathing and commenting and consciously experiencing. The second room is CHAVAH The concept of living which is an objective experience of another external entity acting in a voluntary manner, also breathing and commenting but also expressing nonverbally by body language.
None of these are grammatically reducible to yahweh. That is in the congregation for both these roots Yahweh does not appear
So when we examine what Yehovah is expressing in Exodus chapter 3 defined a clear link to both these verbs one in the perfect the other in the in perfect. The one in the perfect actually picks out the present participles of Chavah which is choveh which is used for the present tense . That is then used to form YahaChoveh which is to say Yehovah lives concretely in our experience. Because it’s based on the perfect form it reflects back that Yehovah Was looming, has lived concretely and in human experience. It is reasonable to expect a more modern pronunciation to be Yehoveh
The imperfect form gives Yehovah personal conscious experience of being, in that he imagines that he will continue to be also his name is Ehyeh from his Perspective.
There are other grammatical forms related to the two babes when conjugated which could lead to complex compounds like Yahaychivih or Yahayhyih
But I am sure for a man who studied and struggled with pronouncing his words, as Moses is reported to have been afflicted then Yehovah was enough!
Is the commatz a deal breaker? The only one who can answer that is Yehovah
